Just spoke to the guys at Dial'd Bikes, said they are waiting for the new impact lows coming out in March next year and won't be bringing in more of the current model. The price will also be quite a bit higher due to the R/$, currently at 40% more to what it was when the current model was imported.

Phoned the Trailhead too, no stock of the impact lows :cursing:

Looks like we'll have to wait and pay more or buy something else.

Sorry dude. Like I said I'm waiting for myself too...

Hi All.

Has anyone tried the Specialized 2FO Shoe?

Anyone got any reviews or comments on Five Ten Freerider Pro's?

Thanks

Try and actually try one on for sizing. If you're buying online consider going up 1/5 to 1 size

Thanks, probably buying online, so might be tricky.

I have read that they can be wide, but nothing about general sizing, do you find them to be a bit smaller?

Careful when buying online. I bought my first fivetens a couple years ago, UK9 unfortunately they were slightly to big more like a 10 I did a bit of research only to find out other guys had the same issue so the next time I order a size down, the fit was perfect... Buuuuut now I believe addidas bought them out so it's anyone's guess how they'll size their shoes now.

I hope they'll remain the same, that said check out the ion range pretty decent and a couple 100bucks cheaper as well as 2fo spez shoes are also just as good or so I hear.

Five Ten size UK10 have always fitted me perfectly until the last 2 pairs I bought after Adidas came in. Those are on the small side. One pair I can still wear, but the other is way too small; probably more a UK9.

So I got the shoes and went for the 9.5.

They seem to fit okay, except somewhat spacious in the toe box area. Is this likely to be an issue in any way?

Sorry man but I’m in the same boat. What size do you normally wear?

I'm normally 43 in spaz shoes, or 8 in my tekkies/skidgrips my five tens are 42.5/8.5, and the room in toebox is nothing really

Okay cool. I’m normally a 10 but according to the foot measurement guide on crc I’m an 11 so I was just going to go with that. Maybe I’ll just go fit a new pair of Adidas at a tekkie shop and see.

I’m normally a 9, although I do find some 9’s too tight and for those particular models of shoes I’d need a 9.5; so either of those two.

I went up 1/2 size on my normal size. Fit felt ok, great on short rides, but they hurt the outside of my feet on longer rides. Im going to sell - they just dont work for me

What do you think is causing the pain, which part of the shoe and do you suspect it is too big or too small etc?
