Kimmage rode it clean.

Read Bad Blood by Jeremy Whittle, there are riders in Europe who ride clean but they just did not feature or were shunned by the pro teams. nowadays it just isn't worth it to be caught especially if you are French imho i think the majority of the riders are still being "helped" by the best their support staff can get and still keep the rider legal.

At night while watching the TdF replay I get onto my TacX trainer and choose a route of the same distance that the riders are on. Like the other night they had about 50 km's to go and I chose a virtual 50 km route (probably Lombardy if I remember). Then I raced them. I had 15km's to go by the time the winner got in. They must be doping to beat me by so much.

I've read both books, but I believe that the current blood doping passport will sort out a lot of the problems for now, until technology finds new ways to hide the doping.

Kimmage rode it clean.

Rode what clean?

In May 1990, Kimmage published Rough Ride, detailing his experiences as a domestique which included references to drug use, including that of his own.

I think he's trying to say he did it clean before succumbing to dope.

Whittle's book is crap. He could've spilled the beans on everything he knew, but failed to do so. He didn't name names. He could've. He also appears to be so far up Millar's behind. Strange that. Didn't he just ghost-write Millar's book?

you'r correct, i should've quoted Fand's post. Kimmage rode the TDF clean.

ones opinion of books is subjective. you can't name names if you don't have irrefutable proof. journo's in the field of sports reporting won't earn sufficiently from only one book and defintely don't earn enough to employ fancy lawyers to defend themselves against TDF winners

Kimmage named names.

true , most of them were his team mates. he was then shunned by his heroes Kelly & Roche as "one who spat in the soup"
