For anyone else I would agree, but in 2009 Valverde did exactly the same to Cadel Evans after Evans punctured. Valverde took full advantage of the fact and attacked. He went on to win the Vuelta.

I agree totally.

Good memory....forgot about that!

Good point.

It is still uncool sporting behavior from Sky, whether it's Allesandro or not.

I cant remember the incident, but I think its rather different, a punture and a crash are not the same. It also matters that Valverde was in the leaders jersey, its unheard of to attack the race leader when he is on the floor.

A circuit race today. A big loop out of town and back.

The sprinter can come out to play.

Orica-Greenedge is doing so well in its 1st season.

Took another win yesterday.

Something is going right there in the management of this Aussie-based team.

Now for MTN-Q to roll out, soon.

The race director would call the tactical shots, TZmtb.

The man that speaks into Froome Dog's ears...

Fair enough Dale but Wiggins made the decision to wait for Cadel back at the tour and slowed everything down himself.

Yes.

Come now, Froome Dog.... don't be a dog. Wait next time for the fallen GC leader.

I think Froome has bigger worries than Valverde at the moment, the two little spaniards are going to hammer at him in the high mountains.

Especially the multiple GT winner.

Anthony Pope@Plastic_Peloton

If races were stopped everytime a Spainish rider fell over in a cross wind, the northern classics & all Belgium races would be pretty dull

Its unconfirmed, but apparantly one of Team Sky's staff managed to restrain Valverde by telling him "alright, keep your hair on" #vuelta
