davetapson Posted August 1, 2011 Share little peg/doofus thingy on rear triangleDon't take this one off, it holds the chain when you flip the wheel.I was wondering what the hell it was for...
davetapson Posted August 1, 2011 Share For those you'll need a quill adapter and an oversize modern road stem. One of these? Then I need to get a stem too. Not going to look as clean as the old '7'. Fk, you learn something new every day.
LeTurbo Posted August 1, 2011 Share Do your wheels have aero spokes? Medium deep profile? They're probably old Ventos. PM me if you want to get rid of them. If you want a lower profile, something Campt like the Montreal '76 (which is actually a later wheel, not 1976) would do nicely, or older 90's Mavic rims. davetapson Posted August 15, 2011 Share Body putty: "Add 3 to 4 cm of hardener to 1 desert spoon of putty" WTF, is this a recipe? When I was using epoxy resin I had to measure hardener to 0.2 of a gram.
