Pusher Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 With Teak closing I need to find another place to ride. I haven't ridden at Northern Farms for the last year or so and I was wondering what's it like now? I know safety was a concern at one stage-is this still a problem?

Place is opening right next door to Teak, so you'll still have your riding spot.There's also the bike park, Spruit, van Gaalens, Vlei, Kings Kloof and Groenies.

He doesnt know when they gonna be opening, but it doesnt sound soon

BigGuy Posted August 5, 2011 Posted August 5, 2011 where is "vlei' done the rest?Riet'Vlei' in Alberton. You can ride at Rietvleidam in Pretoria as well but it is rather flat and unexciting unless you mix it up with the Rhino.

He doesnt know when they gonna be opening, but it doesnt sound soon Ag nooo ... What's the issue? 'Apparently' Teak showed an interest in keeping their trails open after the Nissan race... Imagine if Willow Park came through AND Teak stayed open! @mrparx .. Rietvlei Zoo Farm in Alberton, Wendell is also opening up new trails in a reserve just up the road from there as well! Oh ya, theres also Home of the Chicken Pie, on the way to Hartys. Best to do that with an organised group though, that know where they're going. Edited August 7, 2011 by danger dassie

So don't hold your breath for the new place. Maybe cradle restaurant will get their act together quicker also
