I have a very soft spot for TT bikes and this one is most certainly built on that similar style :thumbup:

Absolutely awesome bike! 303 tubbies or clinchers? Cos i have a steel bottle cage if u need to get to UCI std :rolleyes:

 

Crazy, this roadie's started looking at Spez MTB's now :unsure:

I was gonna ask why the Toupe Saddle, cos there are lighter out there but clearly you need to make up some weight somewhere ;)

Zipp 303's on that and you might have the best looking bike I have ever seen.

 

Personally I would put on white hoods.

 

That aside, its a one day please GD bike.

I was gonna ask why the Toupe Saddle, cos there are lighter out there but clearly you need to make up some weight somewhere ;)

 

Re the saddle: It's actually off my MTB. I have lighter saddles by about 60gr but they both have carbon rails and Specialized have not yet released the small parts that you need to swap in the seatpost to accomodate the oversized rails. Once they do it will get lighter still.

@ Clinton - 303 Tubulars... I sold the 404's last week to pay for the groupset on this puppy.

 

404's all mine now. Gonna need them to chase this thing at Killarney - it already broke me this morning trying to follow up Red Hill and Ou Kaaps - had to go back to bed when I got home
