Anyone using a Fenix3 as an everyday watch?

Care to give some feedback?

Yes.

Works fine.

I ride 3 times a week (approx 2 hours a time) and maybe 1 run a week (30 minutes)

I recharge is weekly.

It is constantly connected to my phone and i have several 3rd party IQ apps running.

No issues.

Here is the picture.

Limited edition in a nice box.

I liked the chain links around the bezel. Also the Second hand is actually a crank that rotates.

Its quite a big watch.

Never really wore it as it was a bit too large on my girly wrist.

:)

I paid R6000 for it new. Will look at all REASONABLE offers.

Hi Wayne, may be keen. What diameter is the watch, looks at least 50mm?

The novelty is issued in limited series of 3000 pieces. The new Festina watch employs a black PVD-treated stainless steel case, daring in its exterior. It measures 47.5mm in diameter and is 15mm thick. The case is outlined by an impressive bezel, which reproduces the links of a bicycle chain.

The model also features a crown and two push-buttons, inlaid with scratch-resistant treatment. The top of the case is covered by a mineral crystal. Treated with 6 layers of glare-proofed coating, it ensures a perfect durability and legibility of a dial. The back of the model is screwed down. The case provides 100-meter water-resistance.

The new Festina Chrono Bike Black Limited Edition 2011 watch shows off a three-dimensional dial, inspired by bicycle elements. With small white Arabic numerals, set on a raised rim, it tells central hours and minutes by means of skeletonized hands. The small seconds are shown in a counter at 9 o’clock.

The chronograph features are presented through a 1/10 second sub-dial at 12 o’clock, a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock and a central seconds hand. All the counters are framed with silver colored circles. The date indication is arranged in an aperture between 3 and 4 o’clock. All the functions are driven by a Japanese Miyota 6S10 quartz movement.

The new Festina watch is coupled with a black rubber strap. It is finalized by a pin buckle, engraved with the brand’s logo.

Another cheapie for riding.

Best looking Gshock I've seen, nice colour, how much did that set you back?

Why doesn't Casio(apart from the Gshocks) make more brightly coloured digital watches?

I like plain digital watches in crazy colours.

The only digital watches I've found in nice bold colours are the surfing watches like Freestyle and Nixon, Nixon's are nice but the quality doesn't match the price.

My first one (in black) was R900 in Dubai and this one was about R1700 locally at the time. They are now available in almost every colour, including camo.
