Taken numerous attempts and half the morning just to login and post this, and yes it only happens on the hub website all the others working like clockwork.

The last 2 days the hub has been painfully slow to login, view / reply to threads. Yeaaars of hubbing reveals that this is a bi or tri annual experience.

 

Admin, time to kick the server or whatever where it counts again!?

There was a community message up for a while apologising for the inconvenience and saying it would be offline between 11ish and 13ish...

Seems like the new TheHub website template is hammering the MySQL database. Get a database developer to optimise the connectins. Also look at caching plugins.

 

Hopefully some baby's will pop out and share the load...

Yeah, it is not a pleasant experience right now, abysmally slow and loses the posts - its like going back to dial up.
