Our forward play which is such a strength is gone

That renders the backline vulnerable

And boosts the opposition

A draw against the liquorice all sorts Barbarians who had only a few weeks to prepare, thumped by England, first ever loss to Italy who are largely seen as an also ran team and now third ever loss to Wales.

Call me sceptic but somethings amiss.

Call me sceptic but somethings amiss.

I predicted 1 won and 3 losses for this series. I knew they would lose but not to Italy.

A few other things that are a concern:

The players (whoever is at "first receiver") catching the ball standing still.

Wish we had a flyhalf strong enough to keep the forwards out the back line. It happens, I know, when backs are caught/held up in the tackles, but it seems every (read: most) forward thinks they are the flyhalf. Thinking about while typing, it's probably the coaching that doesn't address this or allow it to happen.

It is so easy now for a good backline to score against us. All they need to do us run through the many forwards standing in our backline. And in yesterday's game Lambie had to try to clean out a forward at the ruck because there were none of our forwards there to do it. They were all already in the backline waiting for the ball.

Yes

That's part of my concern

The lack of presence and thus physicality at the rucks

The essence of rugby is to get the ball via the big guys in front and then run through to the white chalk as straight and fast as possible.

I read AC is happy to step down if we do not improve by the end of next year... The asswipe wants another year!!

It's time to empty the SARB purse. Time to stand together for once in our lives and vote with our feet (bums). Time for empty stadiums and the boycotting of all SA Rugby apparel.

Maybe AC is trying to salvage whatever credibility he had. Which team, province or country would want him as a coach based on what he has achieved with the boks.

"This is the worst springbok team I have ever seen" - Welsh commentator during yesterday's game.

Scary thing is these guys know what they are talking about and for most of the game they went on like that about the way the bok players were playing

Wow, how the tide has turned. In case there are some youngsters on here that don't believe that the Boks used to actually play some good rugby.
