I love Specialized, but that helmet just didn't sit well on my head, not dissing the helmet, maybe more my head, couldn't afford the top of the range Prevail and finally decided on the Rudy Project Sterling, sorry guys for mentioning this, but it fits my head well and it was at a good price, still enjoying it afte 6 months.

Let you head/fit do the talking

One of the ex reps for Spez once tried to sell me a helmet like that for the wife saying it was a ladies helmet!!! Damn cycle reps. :)

Don't forget that you might qualify for a crash replacement on the Bell. It is a 75% discount if I'm not mistaken. You may just end up going back to Bell

Cool.. Ja cant afford the Prevail so this looked second best for me.. I dont think its a ladies helmet.. If it is, it looks great anyway.. haha..

I dont really like the look of the Rudy helmets..

Getting it from the states for R700 so sounds like a deal..

I find it very comfortable and well ventilated. I like it some much I'm on my third one. The first was lost in tranisition at a triathlon and the second was destroyed in a crash.

The only thing I would say is the sizes come up very big... I have a big head and only need a medium.

We met a guy involved with Spez helmet design in the Spez pits at the WC last weekend. What a nice guy. Interesting to talk to. He mentioned that the Prevails in Europe are slightly lighter than the US, as their safety requirements are slightly different. I asked him about Cabinfish's clear helmet cover that closes up the vents. "Well", he said, "If he feels more aero and faster, it's good enough for us"
