What is cool though is that as a consumer, one can choose.

There are pros and cons to all the wheelsizes.

So, where you ride and your training/racing objectives determines your choice.

Wrong deduction, mate. I'm still on my old Giant Xtc1 HT 26'er. Not because I cannot afford a 29'er (if I really wanted one, you can buy them from R5000.00 upwards now) It is my choice, as I cannot see the benefit TO ME by going to a 29'er. It is going to do diddly squat for my riding prowess. So I'll rather save my money for something else.

I was going to read what you said but I need to stimulate my brain, not retard it so... sorry for you wasting your one finger typing on me..

I fail to understand how anybody can feel insulted or threatened or even be slightly affected by what somebody else rides. You are not riding it, they are. How has it got any significance in your life? If thats what they choose - so be it. We are all different. Are you now going to give me a hard time because I drive a bakkie and you drive a mini? please...

Agree 100%.

You're not getting my point.

Well then elaborate and make a point for once.

Let me cut is straight with you.

You are a roadie and with all the coverage MTB is getting on telly at the moment you are suddenly following it a bit.

The only name that has made an impact to you at this stage is Nino Schurter.

Your dig at Burry was plain and simple being disrespectful.

So because Nino won 1 race this year so far, he is the new God of MTB ?

He's been the God of MTB for years already...

OMG this is sooo farken funny . So I should get a 29'er just because it will rank me higher on the social MTB ladder ? HT or DS ? I don't wanna make a mistake and waist my drinking money .

It's waste , maybe spend the drinking money on education

Doesnt matter. There are only 2 things with wheels that deserve bashing - Harleys and Landys.

(ford)

Hahahahahahaha! What's that old insult? 90% of Harleys and Landys are still on the road; the other 10% made it home...

Clapped-out old Hardbody here, but I love it!

Or maybe you know it is the truth and that your argument does not carry any water.

Don't bother replying, as I'm done wasting my time on you.

Interesting...

the 650b seems like the best of both worlds though.

How can you have the best of both worlds when you have pro's and cons on all the wheel sizes ?

3 points about me, HairySack.

1. I follow most endurance sports. It is not about the terrain.

2. Africanmtbkid is a superstar. I admire his achievements and overall attitude.

3. This is not personal. It's general discussions about a sport.
