Its insane how good the stauser team is! I just hope that 360life can climb back to second because they are the 2nd best team there.

There's obvious tension between KE and Songo. Anyone watching the stream can see that. Yeah DG shook Burry's hand and said congrats, but these chaps are not looking to make 'groot maaitjies'. Not sure how anyone can expect them too. They are after all competing against one another in argubly their best form coming into this event.

Gotta love Burry's podium shoes

Saw a clip recently I think it was Cabinfish slipping and falling on his arse on the podium. There's no excuse with these babies around. Are they available for coffee shop riders to wear to Cafe Velo, AKA the Rul s of the Cog and all?

Second place to 360One is no disgrace.

And if something should take 360One out of the race - as has happened more than once - then... boom, first place.

But me, I'm happy with how it is now - just a matter of seeing if 360Two can make up any more time (they won't if the best they can do is wheelsuck) and whether MVM or Bulls can pull them back.

I'd like Bulls to take 3rd, but I suspect they are lame bulls now... black sock or no black sock. How sad to see the mighty fall...

Yes, its extremely sad if you think how the Bulls have been in the past and I have always enjoyed watching them, it seems like people may start referring to them as the Cows now.

Well after watching the highlights last night and the post race interview with Barry and Suaser i could pick up a little sarcasm. It made me think there was some words spoken during the race. Im not vocal about this and stating it as the obvious, its just my perception.

Cool pick!

Why is it that a helicopter always makes things look more intense? This would just be a picture of 2 guys cycling on a random dirt road, but add a helicopter hovering and bam!

I reckon I'm just going to photoshop helicopters into all me funride picks. Imagine a standard funride prick, but with an Apache gunship hovering behind you, maybe some explosions - awesome!

I wonder how things would have panned out had DG not punctured on the first stage. The two 36 teams are owning this race so far. Makes it look like a two horse show. I can only wonder how how different it would have been had 360life not lost so much time.

Wrt the tension, I'm not surprised. The two teams are basically trying to kill each other on the bikes. And there is still racing left to do. Competion is fierce, and there is a lot at stake.

Maybe like rugby players they might have a beer in lourensford. Smash each other on the field, have a beer afterwards and tell your opponent how hard he tackled you.

But ya, the Stauser pairing looks in great form.
