Pink ones,.... Oh you talking about the epic.

Schwalbe Racing Rhalph snake skins. We ran them for the Epic this year and not one problem, awsome tyres.

I wouldn't trust Rocket Rons or Racing Ralphs for the Epic. Actually, I'd be hard pressed to trust any tyre under 550g.

I recon the Schwalbe snake skins must be the most used tyres on this years Epic. I was expecting more puntures and side wall cuts but it seems tyre durability has changed substantially! Just not for 360life

The new 2012 Racing Ralph 29er snakeskin is a whole new ballgame. Just over 600grams ( in snakeskin)

Much thicker sidewalls and faster yet grippy tread, new compound, so despite thicker walls it is lighter.

Please don't tell all your friends as I would like to be able to get them all year round

Dont worry I have a box of them at home! was expecting at least two tyre chnages for epic but the original ones are still 100%.

Yea also running them at the moment and they are great but pricey.

Another biggie is that they are easy to fit and remove, when you have a issue and have to fit a tube its a breeze. With my geax sagueros on my training wheels it is hours I kid you not.

So if you would want to get ride of any of those "obsolete" and "used" tyres in the box ... what would you let them or at least one of them go for?

At this point after the Epic I may take some time to go through that inventory.......numb today!

Keeping them as spares, sorry.

This is one helluva good advert for the Shwalbes, and a really *** one for Maxxis!

The second-placed African team, Gawie and Nico, didn't have one puncture the whole race. I saw that Nico tweeted that they were running Conti X-King and Race King protection tyres.

Any analysis on the tyres the other top teams were riding, and their puncture rate?
