What has four wheels and also flies—or gets flown or otherwise transported—to the Circuit de la Sarthe, location of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, to celebrate the return of the Ford GT to the legendary race? One spectacular 1/3-scale model of the GT race car rendered completely from Lego bricks.

The Ford GT, weighing between 66 and 88 pounds, is the work of a professional Lego model builder named Pascal, who said it consists of some 40,000 Lego bricks of different sizes, shapes, and colors. It will be displayed alongside a supersize model of a classic Ford GT40 when the real race car makes its triumphant return to Le Mans, half a century after the first of the original GT’s Le Mans wins in 1966. (Hence the No. 66 on the car’s side.)
