Yes sex sells. Cervello have managed to get thousands of people talking about their product without even having too air their add! There is no such thing as bad publicity (I do agree with the comments about people getting over their issues with nudity. I reckon she was closer to 150kg though ;-) )

There is no need to have half naked ladies in bicycle adds and it was right to ban it.

What are we adding? Naked lady + bicycle = sale? Or is it an ad?

Hi all,

I think the ads are great, but the half naked male does nothing for me. Perhaps they should be replaced or banned?

I wonder what would happen in the big car shows without the sexy models?

Regards

I still can't see how it's different to the mens ads:

People need to seriously get over their sexist archaic body image crap.

Hmmm. Someone want to explain to me what kind of pants these are?

Long baggies used by roadies to try and make them look like mountain bikers?

I would not go so far as to say it should have been banned, but in this case the ad is poorly done. It was done to attract attention to the women's body and not to the frame, since the frame inserted into the ad seems almost as an afterthought. Maybe if the frame was on the forefront and the women on the background faded in it would have looked more classy.

I don't know, but I believe we should get over the 'Sex sells' thing. It gives the impression that men only think with their frontal appendages, and I for one take exception to that train of thought.

There is no need to have bike frames in ads with half-naked ladies...

That way, we could have seen the left one as well

Now a bike ad with this guy shows, that you have a strong frame with lots of work put into it
