What is the weight of the 510? The last pair I held was a shock..

Haha! That is probably the first "What does it weigh?" question that I have seen on a gravity related thread.

ah, but does it have a carbon sole and will it match my yellow sock?

Seriously though, an all day adventure on a long travel bike will make you wonder if the heavier shoe was really worth not asking..

The impacts are quite heavy. Well, very heavy. 5.10 has some new models aimed at trails riders that are somewhere between Impact 2's and Freerider.

Sorry for the poor quality pic.

When Flat Pedals bite back. Sometimes not even 5.10's can make up for ones lack of talent.

7 stitches but I was still riding the next weekend

I still prefer flats over clips for playing.

5.10 Minnaar's are heavy... but I dont have no problem with them on a sub 2:00 ride... after that they get heavy...

I do kuk myself with them while climbing mankele's never ending mountains for example.. but they are very comfortable and it really is convenient being able to use one pair of shoes on my 29er and 150mm bike... especially during the week when I dont plan which bike i'm going to ride untill i walk out the door.

Gross man... im having breakfast... LOL...

Yeah, a good pair of flats bite you ALL the time... even while just loading and pushing you bike around they will get you a couple of times during the course of a single day... but you get used to all the little nicks and scratches after a while.....

did the argus using the mr Minns. Didnt notice the weight, at all. Often to 3 hr rides with them. No problem. I just blame the hill i'm on for the burn in my thighs. ;)

nice bit of info there Crow. Pity no mention of the flexibility rating of the Mr Minns. When I had my bike setup done, the guy doing it commented that he thought my minns were stiffer than many roadie shoes.

Just remember those are quoted weights. Will weigh my Impact Low II tonight if I remember.

Got some funny looks when I showed up at the i-flex duathlon with an Anthem 29er, DMR flats and 5.10's!

Dear Hubber,

I am desperately trying to get my hands on a pair of those 5.10 impact low MTB shoes. Can you please let me know where you are getting them and at what cost. Most of the local suppliers of these shoes are out of stock.

Thanks
