@Dale. That baby upgraded from a grey plastic wheel push bike aka the noise maker lol, to a 12inch raleigh. I started cycling late but he will be a pro by the time the training wheels come off :-)

 

Hope you achieve some milestones in the Argus, Fakes!

Hi all

 

So the following bits have slowly been arriving, from all over,

 

all here now, just the frameset needed still,

 

The stem will change to a Thomson once the cockpit measurements have been determined.

Thats it in front, in the Thompson sleeve, that photo was taken 30min after me going and picking it up :)

Camerons.... if you dont mind me asking? Where/who can we get 101's from here in KZN.... and what can i exect to pay roughly?

New type 2 X0 derailler.... tired of my chain jumping off chainrings at the bottom of fast bumpy decents...

Anyone used one yet? any feedback?

Not at all. I got mine from a buddy who owns a bike shop in JHB so I got myself a bit of a deal. The cheapest I have seen them is on the buycycle.co.za website for R10100 which is pretty good. I think the RRP is about R13k. I'm pretty sure that although most shops in KZN won't have stock they will be able to order them for you. Try Chainworks in Umhlanga or even Zululand cycles in Ballito does Zipp.

 

I've not received them yet. I only ordered them yesterday but reports are that they are pretty nice.
