You know what i have met Lance a few times and he is a box (afrikaans) but he is still one of the greatest athletes around. He trains farking hard to get the results he does.So who cares if he used a few chemicals years back.

Next thing people will say it's because of the weight he saves being a uniballer.

I understand that Lance will bring even more hype/publicity to the sport of Ironman, but at what cost?

And also looking at the sport does it really need anymore? IM 70.3 EL was the biggest event ever in the sport at 3,000 athletes sold out. Clearly this was too many athletes as Argus like bunches roamed the highway and after the swim half of the guys had to transition in the parking lot as the tents were full.

What will the consequenses be for the sport if he test positive? But then again apparently he does not get tested (referring to Rasmus Hennings recent comments)

I dont watch the TDF anymore becuase 80%+ of all the top 5 finishers (past 10 years) have tested positive (refer to a certain article from Bill Stapleton). I have found the IM events quite a fascinating replacement and would not want the process seen repeated.

I think LA is awesome. A proper inspiration to everyone out there.

Every now and then a super athlete comes along and dominates everything. LA, Woods, Schumacher, Federer.

Take it all in people. At some point in time his career will be 100% over and then all you will have is memories and stories.

Football, tennis, rugby, badminton even table tennis players use the stuff.I just enjoy watching cycling and i don't go into the politics of it.

I guess thats maybe the best way to look at it.

Just a pity we dont have any cycling heroes as the winners are never around long enough to become icons!!

goat tree walking think ok so now Lance fruit sponsor long.

Anyway, I choose to be in awe of him - he like just about everyone else proabably doped in the past, but I reckon he is clean now - and you have to respect what he is doing.

Why can't you just let it be? :cursing: It's not as if LA doing / not doing the things he is being accused of, will change anything in your life.

Yeah time for people to grow up, even if your dope out of your eyeballs, you would never in a million years achieve what this dude achieves, I am not particularly fond of the chap but as far as athletes go, they see him rolling they a hatin......... Becuase after all jealousy does make you nasty.

OK cool. Sorry I questioned him - what was I thinking?? You guys are right. Lets just accept that he is clean and move on.

Go Lance!

Yes, you bad bad person. Glad you have seen the error of your ways, repented and are following the true path of the greatest cyclist to have ever lived.
