So just to be different, I'm going with Popovych for the yellow. Maybe this will finally be the year he gets a great result. And with Radioshack missing their lead rider with the absence of Andy, and Frank probably being burnt out after the Tour de Suisse it could be him leading the team. I also hope Cancellara dominates the time trails ;)

I think Kloden will do better than popi on GC to be honest

Wow, we're really scraping the RSN barrel of geriatrics to find the best RSN placed old man. What about the old old one Horner? What a farce from a supposedly SUPER TEAM.

I agree , the ony rider who i think will give them 1 maybe 2 stage wins in the tour is Sparticus

Depends how much work he has to do for whoever the team leader is going to be. Without a real chance at GC (and JB will know this) he might be given some freedom to go for stage wins. Last year Tony Martin whipped him in the TTs but he had to do a lot of work for the Schleck sisters in the mountains so was naturally more fatigued than Martin. My gutt still says Martin will be the one to beat in the TTs (despite his lack of form leading up, I'm sure he'll be ready). Really hoping for stage wins from Spartacus.

Sparticus will definitely take the prologue in my opinion.

Have to agree with Martin on the longer TT's but my prediction would be :

Wiggins

Martin

Garaint Thomas

Evans

Fabian

Chavanel

I really wish Menchov can shake up the GC ladder this year.

Here's his team.

Katusha team for the 2012 Tour de France:

Giampaolo Caruso, Oscar Freire, Vladimir Gusev, Joan Horrach, Aliaksandr Kuchynski, Denis Menchov, Luca Paolini, Yuriy Trofimov and Eduard Vorganov.

I really feel sorry for Jakob as he has worked really hard for the last few months.I believe that he would have take one of the stages.

That team is in such a mess i am surprised that the riders are still riding.

Politics, grudges and cash flow problems are nasty in cycling......I wonder which rider will write a book about it first.

I agree, gummibear...

Wonder what's going on the thinking and reasoning of the decision-makers there.

Horner should stay at home and mow his lawn.

Probably why he's only retiring at he end of 2012 and not last year

I thought it was for the olympics, but his withdrawal kills that theory.
