Okay, real noob question for a change. Recently tubeless converted - now I've gone and sprayed some sealant - but it did it's work in the end...

Now what?! Just leave the sealant-patched hole or search for it and plug it? I'd assume the latter...(?)

But like Tumbleweed said and subsequently deleted it may well be that when you inflate back to your normal PSI's (yip I'm old style none of this bars stuff!) that it 'opens' again and then you should plug it!

What is the difference between tubulars and clinchers?

Tubbies are glued onto a concave rim. Clinchers use a bead to attach to a raised rim wall.

To expand on that, tubulars are thought to gain an advantage by allowing you to inflate the tyre to very high psi as the enclosed tyre and tube is glued to the rim. This then reduces the rolling resistance of the wheel. They are used by most triathletes and serious league road racers. The major drawback is if you get a flat with these. It's not a simple remove the tyre from the rim and put in a new tube process that you can do on a clincher rim.

Back in the day we used to carry a pre glued tubby folded up ..... was a mission to remove the old and also once the new one was on you had to corner with great care ....

Why do they not use the same length of spokes all round on wheels ?

Is Epic hard ?

How far is the August ?

Why steel ?

What is wrong with rim brakes ?

Do I ever need to pump my tyres.

Why do we have to replace crank bearings (bb's)?

Can I use my skewers to grill pigeons ?
