Just watched an interview with him.

 

And his response was along the lines, 6 different judges did not say anything, so it must be ok.

 

He knowingly broke the rules. He cheated. Thumbs down. :thumbdown:

 

Oh yes, and I hope they look after your guy, only 19 !!

 

And third place only 17 !!

 

slowbee - there is a whole thread dedicated to this - but there is a lot that goes on "under the water" that is cheating that happens in every sport - the fact is that those sportsmen and women "get away with it" too but no-one is shouting cheaters to each and every single sportsmen/women. Is it right? probably not - how much advantage does it give him? - who knows - do i have less respect for him? i don't think so

I agree with you Stretch, its happening in all sport. Its not to say he is a cheat, i just feel if you dont use the dolphin kick you will be left behind. I wonder if it was an American or British swimmer would they have made the same stink about it? Edited by fabes
