Popped in during lunch.

Stefan was very helpful in assisting to order the tool I needed after they didn't have stock of it.

After taking down my details and order specs he was also very helpful in going through the catalogs to help find a cruiser.

Was also offered help from other members of staff while Stefan ran up and down the shop to find the right tool.

Simple. People are so quick to say they had crap service at XYZ store. Why not when you get good service?

Im not talking about just normal service here. Im talking about excellent, go out of your way to get **** done, service.

I dropped in on LC yesterday just to get some bearings (so cheap stuff) and the guys were cool. I find the only time you wait for service there is on a Saturday morning when the place is heaving.

Kranswurm : what makes you such a positive little fella ?

Forum - "rant n rave" - hence thats what people do here ...

:whistling:

These good and bad lbs raves are so subjective. They mean nothing.

Bike shops are not consistent in their service levels.I get good service today and go all gooey on the Hub about it and tomorrow you get crappy service at the same bike shop and blast them on the hub.It is a waste of time.

I can be positive and I am a big fella btw

Speaking of subjectivity and wasting time; instead of speaking to the content of the post, your post spoke to your intrepretation of its purpose and justification.

Yeh i guess so. People need to learn to roll with the punches and hand them out where required.

That said i started a "Cajees cycles" thread...

I dont like feeling ripped off, and lets be honest - the majority of people walk into a shop and take whatever advise the proprietor is offering... look at the cash people are spending on here ... its insane... i dont want people to get ripped off and be left with a bitter taste, its just not good for anyone.

& we can always say that the onus falls on the "buyer" to stomp their feet and get what they paid for, however in South Africa most people dont.

Looking at some of the stores about these days, alot mentioned on this forum with take the constructive criticism and run with it, make a negative into a positive.

On the other hand to the shops that do get flamed on the hub and do nothing about it ... its evident.
