Haha, you know what's indispenable it seems.

Sure prices have gone up big time, but I'm not sure how you could have got the come out at R32k even in March when the rand was 8.8 to the dollar.

I always had plans of getting the pyga prob not in march. at the time my lbs had a new parts kit from vida1 for sale as customer only wanted frame, i grabbed it as the vida was very well specced and the total parts price was a fraction of the individual prices, swapped crest for arch ex wheels and voila my Pyga with xt components emerged. Sold my anthem which I had fr year and the nett effect was 15k..which I paid gladly. So yes I got very lucky hence my concern if stolen would never afford to replace.

Nice trade

Where do you view the complete builds from Pyga?

I'm not sure if they are doing them. When the OneTen 29er first came out they did have some complete out-the-box builds on offer, but I don't think they are doing this any more.

Maybe they figured that the sort of person who buys a Pyga usually has very specific ideas about what they want to put on it.

there is a beaut (orange 650b) at Revolution Cycles in Cape Town.

Pyga does not do full builds.

But sure a bike shop can be clever, and say sure, give you a single price and ask if you want a Shimano or SRAM group set, low end build or high end...

G

Yeah, they did have. I think it was a once off thing though, not too sure.

PYGA ONETWENTY650 XO1

2014 Revelation RCT3 140mm fork

Truvativ Carbon Noir handlebars

Truvativ Carbon Noir seatpost

WTB Volt saddle

Avid XO Brakes

Hope Hubs with WTB Frequency rims

Probably Continental tires

I ordered one. Should get on Friday.

This is more Pat/Cliff/Mark doing this.

Pyga does not do a general customer order, pre build, pre spec option.

Ye of course they do one off's, now and then.

Pat, Mark and Cliff is PYGA.

This is just not a listed, standard stock item, they focus on selling frames only, but I've heard they do sometimes do a build, or well the LBS does the build mostly, and instead of us as customer that specs everything and get pricing for each build, sure you can say ask Revolution cycles, you want a high end or low end Shimano or SRAM build.

They can then give a price for the bike completely build.

G

Ohhhh.. sorry.

I always thought Pat/Mark/Cliff where Pyga?

Okay! Thanks!

PYGA themselves don't do builds.

When they launched the 110 29 they did a few SRAM builds to get full bikes out on the trails for people to see them.

I'm sure if you get in touch with them they'll put you onto the relevant stores that sell their frames and will, in turn, offer builds.
