I did my first road race last week and had a VB start which ended up starting with VA

 

Poor me I never stood a chance to stay with that group and they left me for dead

 

I got a GL start for this week @ 7-27 will this be less hectic than last week and being new to this where is the best place I can read up on all the seedings and groups etc to get a better idea of how it all works.

I'm also not that fit, so an AL start for me, no way. Will drop back to B/C. Can we pick up our numbers at the race venue?

Also seeded AL. Not in shape for a race, so also thinking of falling back to BL/etc for a tempo ride rather (and saving my legs for the last hill!)

Same here - no way I am in any condition to mix it with the boys in A
