Ummm no he wasnt with Honda then if i recall ... his Worlds Bike is in the shop in PMB - and he was riding for Haro in 2003 ... so it was an Intense M1 re-branded as a Haro. Didnt he go onto Honda in 2004?

Amusing about Gwin's brakes - maybe Greg just used his less, a lot less!!

Gwin was using prototypes. Apparently he preferred the feel of the proto's while Greg was using the production pieces. It's a pity about the mechanical. No-one likes to win like that but there's no post script on the trophy.

Gwin pulled the fattest goon barhump ever on the last jump which I'm sure won him a lot of fans. Well. 1 new one for sure. Me.

It's amazing how smooth Greg made that hill look. Probably has something to do with him barely touching the ground most of the way down. Most of the guys I ride with need to stop at least once (I normally stop twice) to relax the hands on the way down. Leogang is rough.

I'm very happy that Minnaar won it, although it would have been better if he won without Gwin having a mechanical.

thanks, wow smooth riding from the fresh prince of big air

I see in the post run interview max asks him about WC in maritzburg next year, and greg says it would be great to 'end it all there with a third win'...so i suppose that means he's retiring in 2013?

In the Ballz interview, he said he thinks he has another five years in him.
