Which bike to use for Nissan trailseeker @ Van Gaalens

still learning

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

Let me start by saying that I do not want to start another 26" vs 29" thread.

I would like to know from guys/girls that have ridden at Van Gaalens which of the two wheel sizes they felt worked best for them. I started riding in July last year so admittedly i am not the best in the technical sections.

Just want to get an idea of which bike to lean towards come race day.

Thanks for the help

There is a 50km race 22 Sept at Van Gaalens ,do that race and then you will know which is best for the Nissan

Don't do the race in the Nissan.

Go with the one that matches the colour of your cycling kit on the day

Definitely not the road bike.

Rubbish. Full carbon TT bike with TT bars. Also, remember to wear an aero helmet and a onesie skin suit. That **** is like greased lightening in VG singletrack.

Nice welcome to The Hub from you lot! The OP's name says it all and instead of saying "It doesn't matter" (kinda what Pieterg said), or "What height are you" or even "The bigger wheels may be more forgiving on the technical stuff" you respond with juvenile sarcasm.
