_Daemon_ Posted November 28, 2012 Author Posted November 28, 2012 Been riding a on one scandal 29er for 3 years now, cannot be more happy. But looking at the welds on the pomptamine's compared to my scandal, the pomps's are much, much nicer. So SS gearing on a CX...42/18 maybe...maybe bit big.

pietas Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 My SSCX that I commute with runs on 39x17. But it is not of much use when going off-road. Or you need seriously strong legs Like the bike. Maybe time I upgrade to a steel CX....
