I ride a Giant Reign, and would swop it out for a Tall Boy any time.

Everyone that I know that has one "hit singletrack and steep downhill" all the time.

One of my mates had a Trek Scratch until it got swiped. Now he rides a Tall Boy, and loves the bike.

If you want to "hit singletrack and steep downhill" neither is a good option. They are both big, heavy, flexy bikes AKA a gate.

Big - maybe. Heavy and flexy - no. The SC carbon is especially stiff quite light. I have one and I dig it.

I would however advise the OP to go with Giant, just because everyone is on the TB at the moment, and that just sucks.

Ja I was just messing. I love the Carbon Tallboy in that matt and red finish.

Tall boy carbon wasn't bike of the year because it's oaky ,

check out What Mountain Bike magazine they will expand on why it's

considered to be the finest duel 29er of 2011.

These are super bikes ,you won't be sorry .

BTW, that Anthem 29er can hit singletrack and steep downhill very well!!! Let's see what the TBc can do...
