this has to stop, why am i cramping so much, i'm training hard, i fuel right.

 

could it just be i'm not use to the high intensity lately, and will my body get use to it, cause really it's irritating, i have it in me to go much harder, but am scared to push because of the cramps, i tried cramp blockers yest, 2 before the race and 1 an hr, but still.

 

It feels like i have done like 50 squats today...

 

what else can i try?

Rennies. Works every time. 

 

Two before you start. 2 at halfway. if you still feel a cramp coming on at the end take another one.

 

I also suffer(ed) badly from cramps and tried anything and everything without success until i read about rennies.

 

That said im sure people cramp for different reasons and there isnt a cure that will work for all people.

 

so just give it a try at least and see if it also performs the miracle on you like it did for me.

What post ride suppliment are you using, are you getting enough protein?  If you are damaging the muscles with hard training, are they being repared before you do it again.  Check also for signs of over training, things like fustration at cramping, ext

Yip that be for legs.

 

I used to cramp badly in my legs. especially on the inside of my leg from my knee btween the quads and hammies.

 

Since trying the rennies it has all but dissappeared.

There is an ampule that I used.  I can't remember the name right now.  It is brown in color.  It is an oral administration system.  Will see if I can get the name in Google.

Hey 1hill, sorry you fell off, My radio crackled in my ear, Looks like Puni has fallen off, but puni was next to me so I knew it must have been you.

 

I did not have the kick at the end ,,, hamstring cramp in the sprint. rolled over in 30th odd place.

no worries turbo i managed a wopping 50th, that wasnt nice at all.(would have been worse if those tandems never pulled me home)

Kona i think you onto something, i don't think im fueling properly post race, muscles need fuel and should get a protein shake or something.

USN Cramp Stop ....crap. "sorry" money wasted on that purchase. I had to stop on 94.7 for a rub down. So taht didnt work for me, might for you.
