Ha ha @DJR - glad you noticed! If you know how hard i had to hunt for a sign that actually pointed in that direction, they all seemed to point the other way! whistling.gif

Very nice! Been looking into SS frames. Did not know GT had one. If I may ask, how much was the frame?

@Smartie - its a 2013 bike, but as far as I am aware, this is the only bike that was brought into the country as a sample. For some reason the bike is not yet even up on the GT site for next year.

Got the bike as a whole bike... its actually not SS specific - can run gearing as well, as it has a der hangar on the sliding dropout. I would hope that if enough people asked, the guys at Omnico may be able to make a plan at getting a few more...

Similar in that they are both bicycles? The Inbred has track ends, with a derailleur hanger, the GT has sliding dropouts. Big difference is the brake caliper also moves when you move the wheel, which the Inbred does not do, which necessitates an adjustment of the caliper.

I know a few Peace riders who will be having a little pants moment when they see this!

Very nice bike but only for selected markets.

That is a problem with South African distributors in general. Only a certain range is available to the South African public.

SS and AM is still seen as a niche market and the focus is still on marathon/xc events (my opinion)
