I started on Trek OCLV

Then Colnago C40

Then C50

Then Look 586 and 595 Ultra(both broke)

Then Time VXRS Ulteam

Currently I have a Time RXRS Ulteam(for sale) and a 65.1 Think 2 Dogma.

The ultralight bikes like Time is way too harsh .

The Pina is by far the best ride I ever had.

Most have their opinion, but I have ridden them

Have to agree with you.

After working in a LBS and have the pleasure of hosting Master’s World Champs this is my list off the top of my head.

Bianchi Oltre

Bianchi Oltre XR

Bianchi Infinito

Bianchi Sampre

Bianchi Sampre Pro

Trek Madone 6.9 SSL Spartacus

Trek Domane 5.9

Pinarello Prince

Pinarello Dogma

Pinarello Dogma 2

Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2

Cervelo R5

Cervelo S5 VWD

Cervelo S5 Team

Cervelo S3

Cannondale Super Six

Giant Propel

Time RXRS ULTeam

Colnago CX

Scott Addict R1

Specialized Tarmac SL3

Probably missed a few, and Groupset’s

Campag Record

Campag Super Record

Campag Super Record EPS

Shim Di2 Ultegra

Shim Di2 Dura Ace

Shim 11psd Dura Ace

Shim 11psd Di2 Dura Ace

Sram Red

And if I could only choose one it would be the Pinarello Dogma 65.1 Think 2 with EPS. The ride is comfortable yet stiff as hell.

At the moment I use mechanical Sup Rec. Would like to have EPS, but too far from Bike Shop if hassle occurs. Edited by Spark
  • 4 weeks later...

After spending to much time riding on the dirt and after enjoying Killarney racing week after week I have decided to upgrade my road bike and try this road racing.

I have a 2010 specialized Roubaix Pro, Ultegra, Zipp 404 Firecrest wheels. Now I want something a bit more racey and cool.

On my shooping list

1. Colnago C59 - They now come with disc brakes - wtf

2. Pinarello Dogma Think 2 - Everyone with a bit of money seems to have one! To popular

3. Merckx EMX 525 - The Cannibal, gotta be an option!

4. Cervelo R5 - Clean lines, mmm

5. Specialized SL4 - Only had specialized bikes so keen for a change.

My preference these days is Shimano, but some may say those Italian frames deserve campy?

Of those on your list, the Colnago get my nod.

If you're LOOKing to expand the list:
