i doubt it was done on purpose.

i remember an article i had read in the past and this happens from time to time, someone hooks up there dog to thw bar so it doesnt wander and someone drives off in the car unknowingly dragging the poor pooch behind.

not nice either way it happened

looks way to thin for a leash.. looks more like cable of some sort

Quite a scary level of aggression in the title and a lot of the posts when the details of this arent yet known. Am very glad the Hub has no power, a lot of us would be dead before the explanations could be given.

It would be interesting to find out what happened wouldnt it before we "kill this sicko"?

Sorry to be reasonable.

Reasonable? There is absolutely no explanation that would make that picture reasonable, and you expect a muted murmur of reason in response to it?

You're losing the plot a bit in your old age there Joe.

I read in the local newspaper that an eye witness says that the dog was already dead. He (the driver) was on his way to the local garbage tip and didnt want the dog in the back of his pick up

Well, I'm sure the dog was dead by the time anyone saw it being dragged. It wouldn't have lasted for long.

And you're exactly who PT Barnum was talking about if you expect any reasonable person to buy the "it was already dead and I didn't want it in the back of my penis extension of a 4x4, cause oooh, yucky, but the rotting garbage is just fine in the back there" story.

Dont know if its true yet.

You see, to me, there are sickos who love to look for stories to be outraged by and then wallow in them with like (small) minded folk. You can feel the perverse pleasure in the posts, such that the facts dont really matter.

Still keeping an open mind on this side - how about you?

Hey look TNT - its pretty lazy to go getting steamed up about last year's dead dog story - if it is.

I do think tying dogs (or people) to bumpers and driving away is a bad thing and people ought to be held accountable if they do it.

I'm more complaining about the knee-jerking, mob mentality which i find very disturbing.

Bobbie saved a horse this week from an abusive owner, after a lot of focused effort - not this lynch-mob venting that does nothing.
