I can't see why you need to move away from tjhe spitty....  think for a play bike I would look 65deg as about right...

this is the other carbon (well carbon steel :P ) frame I am seriously considering with a 120mm fork

post in the banshee thread, strange that would happen to a frame of its kind, but it definetly can...

Banshee can offer a hugely discounted frame, but it is outside of my budget at this stage.....and don't want to make a fuss about it, just want to move on now.

Too many angry nights with little sleep have passed.

I think that would work well - even with a longer fork - 140mm....

Looking for a carbon rim and have 2 questions:

1. What are the better Chinese Carbon companies? I have seen light bicycle and Nextie but what are the others that I should look at ?

2. Would running an asymmetrical rim on the back with a boost hub be a bad idea if the front is still a regular rim? (Upgrading one at a time - budget)

Im also looking for carbon rims. Have a look at Yishunbike as well. Currently using their rims on my gravel bike. Light bicycle has some nice rims, but they only offer 1 year warranty, Yishunbike 2 and Nextie has a 3 year warranty on their premium range.

post-35732-0-12934500-1523892922_thumb.jpgOne year so far on my CS-057. Absolute blast too ride, super fast and light. When I had the rigid fork on and Maxxis Ikon 2.35 it came it at 8.8kg. Now it is in Joberg2C trim with a Reba 100mm and Marvel Carbon wheelset with Hope Pro4 Hubs and Schwalbe rubber. Comes in at 9kg as seen in picture.

I have ridden numerous trails and races with it and it is holding up just fine to the punishment (that was in rigid configuration). Now for the next chapter with suspension and carbon wheel set...
