You know it. And did not even go way out. No sugar, no bread, no pasta. More fruits, but somehow I gained a crap load of weight in a very short time.

 

I even made a pizza without any wheat products.

 

Need to get a focus on what I put in and get out. I am not going to fit im my wet suit come December on this trend..

 

Oh and due to the cold and darkness I have not been cycling... Think that is the major issue here.

I don't know if you guys remember me posting a week and a half ago about me feeling sick and throwing up in the early hours of the morning, anyway it's happened twice since then with the most recent being 30min ago. I've finally found the darn culprit, Lindt 85% chocolate!!! I felt perfect this evening, then had a quarter of a block and it wasn't even 10min before the acid reflux started. Kind of sad that I can't eat it any more.

Good question re the smoked chicken, not sure how it's made.

 

I cooked up 1kg of chicken liver with about 150g onion, 65g yellow pepper and 100g tomatoes.

Bulletproof coffee this morning was 41g coconut oil, 21g butter (a combination of Kerrygold and Clover Springbok.)

Ok, so combo of the chicken, liver and exercise. I got back from a ride yesterday, but I had been snacking on droëwors during the day, my BG was 4.8 (pre-ride 5.1).

And... ahem.... nudge, nudge.... there were some statements made by some contributors on here about BG measurements that we due to start over the weekend ? (I promise not to say ANYTHING about the MCT article then) :D

 

Ja, you bust me, htone. I confess I didn't follow through on that - I was down the coast last weekend looking for the sardines. But... no excuses... I will get my BG meter this weekend... promise :).

Join the club. I also think it is not watching how much has gone down the pie-hole coupled with lack of exercise... dang...

Now this is starting to look better !!!

I like.

 

But I would have added right at the top (i.e. Avoid):

1. Foods containing trans fats/hydrogenated vegie oils

2. All vegie oils high in PUFAs, esp. O6 (sunflower oil, canola oil, peanuts, etc, etc.)

3. Processed/refined carbs

man I am feeling crap today. Took some ground beef. Chucked in some veggies and cooked it. Some coconut milk in the mix after it cooled a bit. Combined this with a salad (lettuce, cucumber and some flax seeds - Forgot to add tomato)

 

Had this for dinner with two cups of tea. But man something does not work in that. But at least I lost 400 grams of weight since Mondays weigh in...

 

And I still need to get my butt on the saddle of the bicycle and not the motorbike...

Had the same problem last week. Causes severe headaches for me. Now couple this with a perfume.... And I become a spewing fountain...

No exercise, I haven't touched the bike since Sunday. (Haven't been in the mood.)

 

Although I did do some core last night, a few push ups (usually I have to do sets of 10 due to fatigue -it's been a while- but I did 30 in one shot last night, easy peasy)as well as sit ups and biceb curls.

Mmm... yep, that would do it. ;)

 

At least the season has turned, or so it seems. The days are getting longer and I actually managed to get a ride in yesterday, but yeah, I am so not a winter person....
