Really? You're the first guy I hear with such a bad opinion about Monarchs.

You should dare, that's how progress is made.

Ok you're right. When i do finally get to ride my new bike I'll be thinking about your opinion. Thanks again.

My Trance x with 140 revelation. Not an Enduro bike but does the job just fine.

NO WAYS MAN!!

that is a enduro machine!

more or less the same as a stumpjumper and there are guys doing the world series on stumpjumpers

and the American enduro's on your bike,

Isn't the Trance a 125mm frame and the Stumpjumper a 140mm?...

Yep. AFAIK it's a 120mm / 125mm at the back and 140 at the front.

Was a 120 in front and swapped it out with the 140. Still climbs well. In fact that revelation is awesome.

I've heard quite a few former Trance owners say that upping the front to 140mm was the best thing they ever did.

One of the guys from the importers of Giant has set his bike up like this and he recons it is a flipping awesome ride!

Yeah, it's so much better with the 140 but then again my previous fork was a pogo stick. Not awesome on hard landings

Not sure what exactly it is, or what it will look like (fair to say I have somewhat of an idea), but my next bike will be an Enduro beast and will be an Ibis Mojo HD-R.

We'll know all the details on Monday...

First ride report:

The route up was a simple affair, used the 2x10 and happy with the result... Bob is just a guys name.

The route down; easy to lift, poised in the air, landings are soft, controlled through the rough and corners like it's trying to lose the cops!
