I think its the one that TCRCarbon was selling at one point?

Specialized is apparently only bringing in the 29er enduro at request. Not keeping stock.

This is my dirty girl:

Santa Cruz Heckler

160mm TALAS Factory RLC/FIT fork (had to get non-Kashima upper assembly so I could have a straight steerer tube.. will use that when I move onto my next bike)

DHX Air rear shock

Formula RX brakes: 180 front; 180 rear

SLX crank 1x10, 32T Fouriers chain ring

Blackspire Stinger chain tensioner

Atherton 740mm Handle bar

SLX Shifters

Silverado Saddle

Mavic EN521 Enduro Rims on Hope Pro 2's (tubeless)

Rubber Queen 2.4 front

Mountain King II 2.4 rear

Shimano Saint pedals

One hell of a fun ride! Next step is a DOSS dropper post. That's gonna have to wait till Christmas.

How did you solve the steerer issue?

I have a Lyrik RC2DH 170mm fork and it always confuses me how they got the boxxer so wrong and the Lyrik so right. The internals are almost exactly the same.

I bought a new one :) Fork, that is... It was old stock at RS and was actually a 2 step 130/160 that they rebuilt into an RC2DH 170mm for me. Got it cheep cheep.

Woah. That is a luck of note. They apparently only bring n the long travel single crown forks on special order now.

I heard so too. Big mistake.

Not for them. The market is 90% 100mm 29er forks.

I chatted to them about 2 months ago and the conversation turned to the new Pikes ... answer was that they would rather not get the first generation ones in as the first gen forks could have issues, so they would rather let the forks first prove themselves.

Omega .... I would be curious to know how the market is changing it's perspective from nearly fully 100mm committed to more trail and then enduro range forks.

Hell. If I see the number of people on this site building full rigids I'd say it's getting even worse.

I spoke to the Trail & Tar guys the other day and they said that they hadn't sold a 26 inch bike THIS YEAR! I reckon most of the guys buying trail bikes are downhillers that are gatvol of pushing their bikes uphill.

Just my opinion tho.
