I haven't added J Rodriquez and Valverde to the yellow jersey poll (yet).

Just added these two Spaniards.

Watch out for lil dynamo J Rod though. He's been quiet. Like 'Berto.

Route finalised today, all the niggles ironed out apparently and 32 days to go.

Double d'Huez will be awesome but this looks pretty harsh:

"

The Alps will decide this year's winner with the double ascension of L'Alpe d'Huez on stage 18 expected to special. Stage 20 to Annecy is only 125km long but ends with the climb to 10.7km Semnoz that has an average gradient of 8.5%."

World Champion Philippe Gilbert will race the Tour de France alongside BMC Racing teammates Tejay van Garderen and Cadel Evans.

After the one-day Gullegem Koerse race yesterday in Belgium, Gilbert confirmed he is going to France.

“I don’t understand why team BMC Racing waits to confirm it. So officially decision is not taken yet,” Gilbert said, smiling. “But everybody knows I will go. I’m looking forward to it.”

Warmup time for June 29.

I loved this clip, the commentary is just top draw.

At 40 seconds in:

Duffield: Has he got a problem?

Roche: No No No, Legs

Duffield: Legs are gone

As if legs don't constitute a problem.

A little bit of topic but on topic.

How do you go about choosing your favourite rider? Do you have favourite riders in more than one team?

I never use to like Contador as I was under the influence of Lance but the more I read up about him (suspension and all) I really think he could be the yellow jersey holder at the 100th TDF.
