No Name Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Agreed. Cavendish acted like a child. I follow him on twitter and he seems like a nice guy, but if you are a professional athlete you have to watch what you say and how you act.

Andrew Steer Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Absolutely, I agree with you here, he is a brand ambassador after all.Not just for his main sponsor ,but also for all the other sponsors he has. It's easy to be the nice guy when things are going well and you're winning all the time... True colours come out when times are tough and you're not having it all your own way. This is also not the first time he's thrown his toys out the cot fabes and jaxtun 2
'Dale Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Cav's seemingly lost the Maillot Vert - that won't help his mood. It's also a surprize that he's only won 1 stage. He loves winning. Maybe the year he'll lose on the Champs Élysées, a place he's always won.

T-Bob Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Comon', it's the biggest stage in world cycling. The sprints are intense, Cav's one job is to win and he takes it very seriously. If you think anyone would try to bump another rider on purpose at 60+kmh then you're cooked, try that on purpose and 9 times out 10 you'll end up on the floor as well. The guy drifted and that has been backed up by 99% of the tweets from other riders and the tour.  Does he throw his toys out? Hell yeah, but as his DS said 'he's like a boxer after a fight, there is too much adrenaline, he just needs to calm down for a bit'. If he was italian he'd be 'passionate'.  Even the best get angry...  http://inrng.com/medias/images/hinaultparisnice.jpg HappyMartin 1

T-Bob Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) TT underway - 15 started already and 167 to go. Can't wait to see what the Paralympic guy clocks. Really liking what the tour organisers have done this year. Great opening week and little touches like this and the evening finish in Paris have shaken it up a bit. Sagan known for his... What? Carrying a little figure of himself winning around to impress ladies dressed in green? Weird. Edited July 10, 2013 by hellocolour

jcza Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I see prediction from Bruyneel (yes yes I know) that Froome will put a minute into other GC contenders and 3 minutes into climbers today.
