E1A104 Posted July 17, 2013 Share Hope the weather does not interfere with the riders, with these descents any rain will result in some slower times... Always a lottery when the weather is involved.
Andrew Steer Posted July 17, 2013 Share I wonder how old he is, looks like His 100th tdf.Didi Senft - He turned 60 last year, or was it the year before... anyway, early 60's! Cav'

T-Bob Posted July 17, 2013 Share Who are your biggest dissapointments in this years tour? I'd have to go with: - TJ- Ryder- Cadel - Pinot- Goss (who?!?)- Gripel (Only 1 stage so far) but mostly the whole OPQS train and Cav'. He managed 3 stages last year with Sky and very little support and promptly went to OPQS so he could focus on getting a team that could support him in the tours and focus on the sprint stages. Yup there have been accidents and issues but they've been overwhelmed and stuttered a lot on the lead out. With 1 more real stage for Cav' left you'd have to feel it's been a poor tour for him after the Giro.
T-Bob Posted July 17, 2013 Share Who are your biggest dissapointments in this years tour? Or maybe Sagan as he hasn't looked like winning much apart from the 'could have done better' jersey. Edited July 17, 2013 by hellocolour
NotSoBigBen Posted July 17, 2013 Share VeloVoices@VeloVoices12mJC Peraud, best placed Frenchman on GC, fell while reccing the route this morning + broke his collarbone. But he's continuing #TDF100
CAAD4 Posted July 17, 2013 Share I wonder how old he is, looks like His 100th tdf. I know it's a special 100th outfit, but no LUK sponsorship? Did he dope?? Then again those 5 finger shoes are better than the crusty sandals from years gone by..
RocknRolla Posted July 17, 2013 Share why are they riding with clip ons today and not full TT bikes? (only tuned in now, and watching with no sound in the office)

RocknRolla Posted July 17, 2013 Share thanx. i have no clue when it comes to road biking. will the gearing then be the same as normal road bikes, or do they have bigger ring in front for the TT?

(Yeah, after MSR last year I really thought he was going to light things up - I remember even Cav talking of him as F%^&ing fast)- Gripel (Only 1 stage so far) (Probably as much down to Kittel riding so well)

Andrew Steer Posted July 17, 2013 Share thanx. i have no clue when it comes to road biking. will the gearing then be the same as normal road bikes, or do they have bigger ring in front for the TT?They will change them to suite the various courses... like Martin riding a 58 for the flat TT. Today I am sure will be standard gearing due to the varied terrain. RocknRolla
