nickc Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Yes I am sure he is heartbroken - such bad luck! but he really gave it his best shot to continue, very brave effort and that dislocated shoulder must have been very painful. Mr Sagan is going to miss him, plus he himself is not feeling 100%.
T-Bob Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 You've got to feel for Impey, that's the first lead out he's done for Gerrans in ages, normally the other way around and he did such a great job. I hope there is some way he can get a day in Yellow as well. Deserves it. But then Impey didn't have the style icon that was the 'stralia's first yellow jersey winner as his first coach... Mr Phil Anderson! Ice colds and owning those Oakleys like no one else could. http://24.media.tumblr.com/c3f940299f3927cc87c88d6e8361101f/tumblr_mo7zxldptJ1qbxnpgo1_500.jpg
'Dale Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 What is really wonderful is that two relatively new teams in OGE and Argos' have been in yellow... Great for cycling.
'Dale Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 While this Aussie team, OGE, celebrates, another Aussie is lamenting his position on the GC ladder: Cadel at 20+ secs behind
ibruegge Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Great results for Darryl! Who is "Team Movitar" as old Phil calls them... ?!

'Dale Posted July 2, 2013 Author Posted July 2, 2013 Hmmmm I think Gossie must move over and OGE must prioritize Gerrans as nr 1 sprinter.Protect yellow for tomorrow.Gerrans should be able to after winning Stage 3, which had a Cat 2 even,, although it was relatively short.

'Dale Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 “Other teams will want to keep the race together for a bunch sprint, so we’ll have help there... Ideally, we can take the yellow jersey all the way to the Pyrenees but we’re taking it one day at a time.” Matt White, Orica' sport director
'Dale Posted July 3, 2013 Author Posted July 3, 2013 Cuddles needs a cuddle after losing more than 20 secs on the GC ladder.
DJR Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Cuddles needs a cuddle after losing more than 20 secs on the GC ladder. He rides in Pearl Izumi, I see, which means that on style points he's in yellow.

He is telling Peter about the time he tested positive for amphetamines and then cried like a baby till the UCI dropped the charges
