If I remember correctly Berto used to be pretty handy at TT

I see he said the pollen affected him today

Yes, he was.. That's why I'd like to know where it went wrong for him..

I mean for Porte to pass Contador as if he was standing still... WTF

Garmin-Sharp must be ecstatic with this performance.

The pollen levels are pretty hectic at the moment, that's the problem with Europe in spring if you suffer from hayfever or pollen allergies

Was Froom using an Osymetric Chainring?

Looks like Garmin also used it?

Is this used on all stages, or more specifically with TT's?

Sponsorship deals determine the equipment range for teams.

O-rings is typically used on all stages as far as I know as it takes getting used to.

I'd seriously would like to know where it all went wrong for Berto..

On the same dope as LA, he was transformed into a machine. Riding clean, he is a good climber and average TT rider, like Basso, for example.

The TT performances of Sky is suspect, imo. Big jump in TT performance for anybody leaves a question mark. Big jump in TT performance of a whole team? History repeating itself?

P5 = best looking TT machine imo. Interesting that they have not gone for the stem level with the top tube.

Contador has a long history with pollen allergies and bad ITT's in the dauphine. Was 1min 46secs behind Brajkovic in 2010 dauphine ITT.

Haters of Contador forget that in the 7 Grand Tours that he has finished first, he has on 5 occasions won by less than 2mins and 3 of those times by a few seconds. Man was never a machine

Makes sense to a degree, except for his history of strong TT performances, going back to when he was U23 Spanish TT Champ way back in 2002 as a neo-pro.

To me it looks like he's either ill or missing some blood. Even clean he should be going faster than that.

Welcome to the big time Rohan! Yellow and white all on one day & Froome & Team Sky in your rear view on a TT. Quite a day for the young man.

Amazing the amount of Contador haters out there.. I'm sick of hearing he's clean so he doesn't have the power bla bla bla

Where are the Schleckies fans now? They've disappeared as Frankie boy couldn't race clean, he needed some dope and still couldn't cut it.

I'm convinced that even the Sky boys probably dope.. I mean if LA could hide it for a decade and no trace of it during his time... It will only be a matter of time till we hear of names racing in black n blue kits..

My only issue is that he's a a doper and his return to the tour is being treated like a second coming. Yup should be exciting to have him in the tour but wasn't LA 'really exciting' as well?

I think everyone dopes.

Berto's "poor" performance today brought out a few comments on his doping and him having no fuel etc. Suppose if his performance increases it will be turned around again.
