Willehond Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I use Mark 2 as well and no complaints except for strong soapy smell. R45 a tub is much better value than R150 for assos. For a real budget buy get aqueous cream at any shop or pharmacy for R10! I still use it as well.

Nancy Drew Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I use Milko Balm for multi day events. About R60 a tub and it has antiseptic properties. It's actual use is for rubbing on cows udders for milking but it seems to do the trick - you can buy it at Dis-Chem

Big joke really, coz it's actually designed for the teets of cows to stop chafing and infection.The best part is, on the tub it say 'for animal use only', so go ride like one. Go look in Dischem. I use our Etxeondo pants, with one of the best chamios around, and it still helps... The combination of the pant and this cream saved my ass on Epic, chairty ride to durbs (slow), and a 205km ride at 21 km/h (ouch!)...

I did a tour from Jhb to Durbs a few years ago, On morning 1 only the odd girl was using it, on morning 2 the girls started sharing, on morning 3 some of the boys were asking for some, and the name changed from Chamois cream to fanny cream (not intended to offend anyone, we had an american with us who started it), and on morning 4 guys and girls were shouting at the top of their lungs ; 'who has fanny cream for me?' and the cream was passed around freely
