Selous Scout (aka LegTrap) Posted June 10, 2013 Share I bought a Brookes saddle almost a year ago and have been very happy with it.Unfortunately in the last month it has started squeaking rather badly.I do use proofide on it but does not help. pietas Posted June 10, 2013 Share It is usually dust/dirt in the screw mechanism. It is used to tighten the leather so you should be able to remove , clean and refit it. Might also be the rails.
