Andrew Steer Posted July 17, 2013 Share I hear you.Finally someone i picked wins a stage (costa) and still i dont move up!Yeah, I must say I agree with your sentiments a little.Just a little input from my side to look at for next year possibly... maybe a little higher point allocation for the stage winners? It seems a little unfair (for lack of a better word) that a random and seldom contested thing like the team comp scores 4 points and yet a stage winner only gets 5 points? Maybe ten/eight for the stage would make it more worthwhile and the point scorers a little more random? I mean say for example Rui Costa wins another stage or two in this years tour, he would still over this entire tour score only 20/25 points despite (in theory of course) having had a cracking tour de France. Maybe even up the points for most combative rider too - it keeps things interesting and a little more random? In the current model in my opinion, it's just not at all worthwhile to select any rider that is not likely going to contest for a jersey - and that pretty much rules out 75% of the riders. Just my 2cents, (please I am not dissing anyone here), have really enjoyed the game as a little extra to the already great spectacle that is the tour I greatly appreciate all the effort that has gone into this BAMF_SS 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
