I thought the Stumpy was more of a free ride bike than a marathoner?  Is it ideal for the Epic?  I guess you would know much better than me.

I would love to get some feedback / ride report on the Stumpy. The reason is that it took a bit of flack lately in the press (mostly from UK based MTB mags):

- On launch there was a problem with the inhouse FutureShox

- In a comparison test, it came out with something like "nice bike and does averything right, but do not inspire riding..."

- In the latest 'What MB", there was a problem with the rocker on the backshock working loose.

 

By the way, I am also in love with my 2007 Stumpy.
