Not sure where you got that from.

Off Cyclingnews.

In mid-July, Schleck's one-year doping suspension ended, and he planned to return to RadioShack-Leopard and ride the Vuelta a Espana. However, shortly before the ban ended, Becca announced that he would not re-hire Schleck. He changed his mind along the way and told Cyclingnews on Saturday that hehad made Schleck an offer for the remainder of the season.

"With my lawyers, we have made an offer to Mr. Becca,” Fränk Schleck told Lessential.lu. “In response, he made what he believed to be an offer but which we do not feel to be fairt. For us, this proposal is not one. We can not consider it. That is where we are at the moment.”

Interesting - more and more teams where the bicycle manufacturer are becoming the main sponser:

BMC, Cannondale now Trek.

Sign of the times about the shortage of sponsers out there !!

Or that bicycle sales are very very good and that the manufacturers can now afford to be the main sponsor of a pro team.

He He, I think they wish it was true - I think its more of the fact that they are having to step in to keep the teams going as the main sponser leaves.

Becca is also suing Schleck and one of the sponsors that pulled out after his doping for 600k.

There is loads of bitterness in that team.

Doesn't make sense why you pay him through his suspension and then stop as soon as it's over. I'm sure his contract would have been till the end of the year.

I think Becca also had to pay Bruyneel a few million Euros.
