Awesome Meezo sent me some hoses, I just need to find adapters for the Formula K18 caliper and lever... In the mean time I'll bleed it and see how it holds up, there is no evidence of leaking at the hole but I don't fully trust it.

Will probably boil down to that. Will take it to Linden cycles tomorrow and see what we can sort out. I thought "Ah I'll just bleed my brake" and then I found that hole. Cant figure out how it happened but my rear brake was slowly losing pressure, guess I found the problem....

Thought it was 'slowly losing pressure', surely then it must be leaking of is ek net dom ....

Thats how it felt, lbs guys reccon thats just how it is. I also read that your rear brake will always be more squishy because of the hose length. I'll be replacing it any how as soon as I find some hose adaptors.

Worth a shot. In my old days, i used it to closed a float on my weber carb. Did a bit of circuit racing, and used to experience a lot of fuel surges on certain corners.

Ever try mounting the carb backwards? Webers are sneaky little ****s to get right when you're not going in a straight line on a flat road. I had a few (3) on a 3.2l Essex motor in a Willys, one of the tricks to get it working properly was to turn then around, the other was to change the max float level from 45mm to 54mm - that thing went like the clappers, was like having fuel injection (with a 3 bar possitive pressure on the hoses though - any less and not enough juice)

At the time it was a 36DCD - Downdraught. So could only run one way. Gave up and put twin sidedraughts on. Car made nice power but was absolute crap to drive. Still own the car and finally made the best decision gone injection. Lets just say since i bought a bike kilarney hasn't seen me with a car, instead I've been back with my road bike
