Sani2C in reverse for 10th year celebration

Does anyone still have their ride stats. Should be able to tell from total assent and descent stats for the three days what the climbing would be like in reverse. I hear what you saying regarding the jeep and single track, (good point) but the idea of something different for year 10 sounds cool. If not in reverse what do you guys think could be done to mix things up a little.

Over the past ten years, Glen has made plenty of money from Sani (which he thoroughly deserves). The first few broke even/lost money, but numbers 4 to 8 made him some nice money. This years might have broke even/made a loss due to the 1 million plus bridge he bought

I fail to see what relevance Glen making money has to do with the event ?

Like any commercial transaction he has as much right to get a return on his investment as anyone else ?

Why would anyone begrudge him his success, as it seems some do ?

The 'product' is excellent and in my eyes therefore deserves every cent it costs.

Good idea ! Make it a seperate event for bragging rights .If you have done both up and down .you get the 3d for free ?.Only the last day will be more difficult ,that is day 3 sani2c

Sure was, I was quite surprised to see that Day3 would have 800m ascent more in reverse. That's quite a difference.

 

When I heard Glen saying in the Sani video that for the 10th ed. he might do it in reverse, you could hear it was a joke, nothing more. It would be a whole lot tougher but just wouldn't make sense. I am interested in hearing what the plan is going to be as well as what Mandy has install for us re the goodie bags.

I think it would be awesome in reverse as well. I enjoy hills and decends, climbing out of the valley at the end of day 2 will be epic.

Ok, Lets put it this way, I am not going to sign up for that. You get a free 1500 m going down to the C. Sani2C is fast and flowing a nice do-able ride for weekend warriors that just put in a little extra training .

 

C2Sani will be a hard slog. The climb out of the valley on day 2 will be pushing most of the way for 73.6% of the current riders
