i wanna know how he made it down the rocky bit then fell off on the river trail...

He has been known to roll down river banks, at joberg2c he did the same next to a river, think the man is half otter...he sortof slinks down with his arms next to his sides....crazy skill I tell you

Ok ok same thing happened again - short & steep, rider ahead stopping. Tuck & roll still clipped in, no harm done.

Spectacular comedy value.

Watching divernick flat on his back was more painful.

Be good if that Satellite descent was open for practice & pleasure outside of events.

Whilst fixing punctures at that stream just after you come down, I noticed some groves worn in the rocks next to the river, almost like stripes. Figured it might have been used a place to sharpen metal-age spears? it was just by the first rocky bit you ride over towards the bridge.

An absolute beauty, enjoying the race and still have time to appreciated the surroundings. Although I think some riders felt like that zebra carcass on the descent (luckily there was no smell otherwise some riders might have had an even bigger problem).
