Super news - wonderful to hear there are still cops willing to MOVE and get things DONE! Please make a point of telling the Mowbray station commander exactly who they were! Great one to Bowmans also!

Good news, and yes a big thanks for Shane taking this risk, and then it seems there are some good Cops out there.

Well done Shane. Now lets hold thumbs that your bikes dont get stolen again, by the cops this time.

What a dumbass comment...

The Police did a sterling job - Why not give praise where it is due?

Well done to Shane - Good man

You are entitled to an opinion, I am also. Obviously you dont follow statistics. Yes the police did a sterling job in arresting the thieves. The bikes however are now in a police storage facility. Ever read about how things tend to go missing from police storage facilities. Obviously not, dumbass. Edited by Vetseun

Easy guys. I've just returned from the Athlone police station with four of my five bikes. The black Titus RacerX is still missing, but I have it on good authority that it was disposed of before the police raid. At every step of this saga I have found the cops to be great - they really wanted to help, always phoned me when they said they would and were really concerned for me and my property. The bikes were returned in good condition, with just a few scratches.

Perhaps if we tried to work with the cops rather than just slag them we'd be better off all round? It seems to work in our area.

Buddy, your type of mindset is the reason why it will be tougher for us to sort out our country; failure to admit that between all the bad apples(perceived and real) in SAPS/govt/etc that there are those who actually take pride in their work. By not saluting the good you are just giving more power to the bad. Lets not p!ss on the OP's parade here; i.e. spoil his happy day he's found his bikes damm!t! Focus on the good, leave the pessimism to the statisticians
